Q: Refused to give Identify Proof for new Water Connection from DJB

We just want a suggestion from you. We are facing an issue regarding our water new connection, the problem is, we have a joint family, in the Family Will my grandmother divided 125 sq.fts two sided faces... She divided half half portion by 62.sq fts of property equally between her Four Sons.. two front side partition and two back side partition, my Father expired on 2013, when my father and my uncle (Elder Brother of my Father) decided ground floor godown should be divided equally in two parts 31sq ft each from 62 sq.fts, we have given that property on rent. Now we need their ID Proof copy for documents submission for the new water connection as per property ownership. They refuse to give us.. which is required to attest with their NOC documents.. ID proof is the only document we need from them..we have all other documents that has to be submitted at DJB, but the agent at delhi jal board refuse to give new water Connection until we submit the ID proof of him. Is there any other way..

Advocate Sunil Kumar answered
getting water connection 1. don't require any agent .2. you can directly deal with Delhi Jal Board online .3. on submitting all the documents required you can get the water connection .4. if there is a delay in giving the water connection you can file a consumer complaint in the consumer forum .5. the person from whom you required identity proof may also be called in consumer court and will , produce their ID proof there . even if there is any problem you may contact your lawyer .

Q: How to distribute fathers property if there is no will

My father bought property from his sister. Father sister got the property from DDA. She gave Power of Attorney to our Father. My father did not took any initiative to register property on his name. He is no more now. We are 4 brothers and sister (2 brothers, 1 sister and myself). My mother and 2 brothers are staying in the same property. Now we want to do proceeding to make papers of the property on mother's name or which ever is the law state. Please advice. (We have all the reciepts and documents regarding power of attorney )

Advocate Sunil Kumar answered
Please tell whether the power of attorney is registered or not. Further you told that your father bought it from his sister. If there is any sale deed executed in your father's name. Further your father died intestate i.e.without any will. Here Succession act will govern you distribution of family property depending on the papers you are holding. Pl.tell the details asked here for a quick and fast action in Ur favour. Thanks
