My marriage is called off by the groom side and they are not returning the money which they have taken to fix the venue what should I do

You could file a complaint before the jurisdiction police.If their is element of dowry demand or any other illegal demands in connection with the marriage you could incorporate the same in your compaint.

Q: Robbed at knife-point. Police not registering FIR.

My sister was robbed today at knife-point in bangalore in the morning. They took goods worth 50,000. We went to the police station but they said that they won't file an FIR within 24 hours of the incident. What should we do. Please help.

Please make a complaint over the phone by dialing 100 immediately. Report the incident. It is a recorded line.Also contact the commissioner of police and report the incident. Diligent officer will be taken to task.

Q: Married for 11 months can I file for mutual divorce

Hello! I have been married for 11 months but want to go for a mutual consent divorce at the earliest. Please suggest the quickest way.

You can't file for divorce with in one year of the marriage.After the completion of one year you could file for the mutual consent petition before the court.Once you file you need to wait for 6months for the final legal proceedings.

Q: Husband having relation with prostitute want to get separated

I got married in 2008 dec my husband is having an illegal relationship with prostitute since before marriage nearly 14 years now last year I came to know this after that he started giving me mental harnesses. Now I don't want to continue relationship with him but h they all for sake their name will spoil forcing me to come and blackmailing me to give my 2 years daughter but I don't want to do so please help me

You can file a divorce petition on the ground of metal cruelty, actions and inactons of the other spouse which amounts to cruelty. Cruelty for a continuous long period is also consider to be cruelty. One needs to establish the same in case of a contested matter. His bad habits needs to proved in the court of law

Q: Can I file divorce if husband denies to have sex

It's been 2 years that I am married. We knew each other before we got married. My husband doesn't have the urge or desire to have sex ever since marriage. We have consulted several doctors , he doesn't complete the course nor he is interested to follow up with doctor. I am extremely frustrated, don't know if or not to file a divorce.
