The following steps must be undertaken in order to change your name:Affidavit- This must contain details regarding yourself like your existing maiden name, husband’s name, new name you wish for, address of residence and a copy of your marriage certificate. It also needs a signature and a photo, and you can then get it notarised on a stamp paper of INR 10/Advertisement- Next, an ad for the same must be printed out in two local newspapers-one in the regional language and one in English.Gazette Publication- This is an optional but highly recommended step for most. It is absolutely mandatory for employees of the government though. It is definitive proof of your name change. You can now officially list down your new name.Points to remember- Name change is allowed only once in India, so make sure your forms were filled out correctly. Also, be sure to inform everyone concerned about your updated name change, eg: place of employment, etc.

हिंदू विवाह अधिनियम की धारा 13 (1) के तहत, पति या पत्नी कई कारणों से तलाक लेती हैं। उनमें से दो में क्रूरता और बेवफाई शामिल है। मैं अनुशंसा करता हूं कि महिला क्रूरता के आधार पर तलाक के लिए फाइल करे और फिर छोड़ दें, क्योंकि उसे अपने जीवन के लिए डर के रूप में उचित ठहराया जा सकता है। अगर वह आपके साथ भागने की कोशिश करती है तो उसके पति तलाक के मामले को उसके पक्ष में बना सकते हैं क्योंकि वह उसके प्रति विश्वासघात करती थी।
