Hi, its nothing between me, my wife and my family majorly my mother. After i got married my mother started infering in my and my wife's personal life, detaining us from everything, always wanting us to be her robot which to do whatever and however she wants. We cant do anything with our own free will, which has disturbed our relation she also beats me and give mental torture sometimes, now we (me and my wife with her family) have decided to live separate but nearby from my family and yet taking care of my responsibilities towards them, I dont want to end my relation with my wife and so does she, we both love each other but my family has made ot worst. But now my family is not allowing us to leave separately and threatning us to ruin our life and put false blames on us and her family and also they are saying that they will end their life and put blame on us. Please help how can i go and live separate from family. Presently my wife is at her parents house.

To secure yourself from any blame for anything unfortunate that your family may attempt, you must file a complaint with the local police station stating that your family threatens you and your wife that they will implicate you in false cases and that if they take any unfortunate step then you ans your wife shall not be responsible for it. Further, file a suit for partition and claim your share of ancestral property, if any. Also, you cannot fbe stopped from moving out of the house if you wish to do so. If they are threatening you or the girl then you can file a formal police complaint seeking protection against any wrongful act that may be committed upon you. If it's just an emotional blackmail then there is a chance that they may legally disown you to put pressure upon you. If you want to secure your interest in the family property while dating the girl then you can file a suit for partition before they disown you from the property. Q: How to take the FIR back

I filed a complaint against a guy who I was with for 2 years and when he left me , he threatened and mentally harassed me and my mother. He is currently charged under section 154 crpc and 506,509. The case is under investigation and chargesheet is yet to be filed but my mother is a severe depression patient since 20 years and this thing is causing her alot of pain mentally and my work is also getting affected alot. Please advise if we can take the FIR back

You can enter into a settlement deed/Memorandum of understanding with the accused (the guy) and then based on the settlement reached you can file a quashing petition u/s 482 Cr.P.C before the Hon'ble High Court. This way your FIR will be quashed and no investigation/action will further take place in your case. Thank you.
