Dear sir, there are two ways to do ;it depending upon the requirement.It would be suffice if your name correction published in gazette. And if any authorities are not satisfied with gazetted change then suit for declaration is need to be file for the correction in the name.

मेरे बेटे का जन्म सन् 1987 का है, उसके जन्म प्रमाण पत्र मे उसका और उसके पिता का पूरा नाम दर्ज है, पर माता का यानी मेरा नाम बिना सरनेम के है, हमने नगर निगम - जन्म प्रमाण पत्र विभाग मे सरनेम अपडेट करने के लिए आवेदन दिया था, पर उन्होने पूरा नाम अपडेट करने से मना कर दिया, क्योंकि नियम मे संशोधन करने का प्रावधान नही है, जैसी जानकारी जन्म के समय लिखवाई गई थी, वैसी ही जानकारी अपडेट रहेगी। कृपया बताने की कृपा करे की कोई कनूनी तरीका है, जिससे जन्म प्रमाण पत्र मे माता का सरनेम अपडेट किया जा सके। धन्यवाद।

Dear Mam/Sir,You need publish the name change in gazzette, or if still for official purposes it does not satisfy then you have to file Declaration suit.प्रिय मैम/सर, आपको नाम परिवर्तन को राजपत्र में प्रकाशित करना होगा, या यदि फिर भी आधिकारिक उद्देश्यों के लिए यह संतुष्ट नहीं है तो आपको घोषणा पत्र दायर करना होगा।

Last month my chain has been snatched. Two days back i got message that Police arrested 4 peoples in my theft case..I had a word with IO and he said they recovered 13 grm melted gold against my lost chain which is approx, 21 grm. dear mam, If it’s court case then you have to file superdari application in court and if it’s in Police Station then you can show your complaint to police and your id. Bill is also required but you can Try to negotiate with police if they agree without bill.
