Anticipatory bail can be applied after registration of FIR but the discretion is on the judge if he wants to grant it or not. Anticipatory bail is applied by accused if he gets to know that a FIR has been registered against him and there is a apprehension of him being arrested by the investigation agency in the instant case

Q: wife and In Laws fake complaint against me

Sir/MamMy brother in law is banker and he opened Fixed Deposite after 4 months of marriage, my wife has deposited 4 lacs in FD ( 4*1 lac each) and myself has 2 lac in FD ( 2*1 lac each). Now she compalint domestic voilence in police station. Further i think also put case of dowry to me.1. Sir how we explain that FD is only open to my name because my brother in law wants to save tax process. And FD is open to my wife savings account. Can i closed it now ( 2 lac in FD ( 2*1 lac each))?.
