Q: Remedies if the cheque given for loan repayment bounces
What should I do if the cheque gets bounced ? My friend borrowed an amount of 5lakhs from meh for which he Hav given me a check of 4lakhs to meh dated aug 2018. I have his messages in whatsapp of giving it to meh for the loan settlement. So if it gets bounced can I file a complaint ?

Yes, you can file a complaint case under N.I.Act. But first, before filing the case, you have to send him a legal notice intimating him and demanding the said sum of money.. The proceedings shall be under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act

My name is in divorce suit as a adulterer what harm I can have...I am a 20 yrs old ....my whole is career is going to spoil .... please help....

In a divorce case there is no provision of punishment for adultery. But under section 497 of IPC, a husband may file a seperate complaint petition for adultery. But there should be enough proof of the offence being committed

There is no limit in filing anticipatory bail applications. But each time you approach the Hon'ble Court there should be a new ground and new circumstances. The subsequent grounds taken shall not be vague.

Section 14 of the Hindu Marriage Act and section 29 of the Special Marriage Act restricts a divorce petition being filed before one year has elapsed from the date of marriage. Though it provides that it can be filed in cases of exceptional hardship but generally any order if passed shall not have effect untill the expiry of one year... A case for judicial separation also cannot be filed with one year of marriageYou can file a complaint case
