Advocate Rakesh Kumar

Advocate Rakesh Kumar has been handling Corporate Litigation upto the Supreme Court of India. He is a counsel in the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi and the Company Law Board for various corporate litigation matters. Advocate Rakesh has handled high value corporate transactions in many renowned real estate and infrastructure projects. He has more than nine years' of experience in the field of corporate restructuring strategies, due diligence, brand protection, corporate dispute resolution (including national / international commercial arbitration / negotiation practices), liquidation proceedings, M&A, joint ventures, takeovers and acquisitions, and company law board-related litigation.

Apart from corporate restructuring, his experience also includes various high-stake litigation before the High Court(s), Company Courts and Tribunals, particularly the State Consumer Commission(s) and the National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission. He has handled a lot of high-stake corporate clients of national and international repute.

During his short professional tenure of less than a decade, Advocate Rakesh has had the opportunity to represent several professional bodies, as well as corporate clients in various juridical forums and have been instrumental in the amicably restructuring of many corporate houses. His recent assignments include restructurings of various listed / unlisted / family-owned / group / subsidiary companies operating in non-banking / real estate / IT / automotive / education / steel / oil and gas and various other sectors through merger / demerger / acquisition/ winding up.

Advocate Rakesh enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi in 2003. He is a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association.
