Q: Should I pay the entire rent if I break a cotenant agreement

I moved into a house in Banglore(India) 2 months back with 2 other girls under a cotenant agreement(3 names mentioned in same agreement) for a period of 11 months after giving 50K(my share) as advance. I had to break the agreement due to an emergency situation. I had not got my share of the advance amount back and the other roommates are asking me to pay rent for the months that are not covered by my advance amount. The rent agreement does not mention the amount paid by each one of us as advance or rent, The exit clause is for vacating the whole house before 11 months, not for individuals.

I'm the landlord of a property and I have a lease contract with the tenant made in 2001. the lease was expired in 2011, however upon request of the tenant we've extended it till 2016. We've already informed the tenant about our plans of renovation from a year but the tenant is providing with reasons and creating delay to our plans. What legal remedy can I get?

First you need to send a legal notice terminating the notice even then if the tenant fails to comply with legitimate demand made in the notice you have to file case against the tenant for ejectment in d court of law

Q: I am facing a Property Dispute in Bangalore. Please help me out

Hi, Before my father-in-law passed away he made a will to transfer his property to my wife's name. She is the last daughter. There is a BDA site which was de-allotted and some FDs. With the legal will she was able to get the FDs and rented house advance transferred to her name. BDA site is not yet allotted. In meanwhile her bro. and sis. have sent a notice that property needs to be shared and that will was done by force. Can you suggest what needs to be done. Initially we ignore but we received another notice which we rejected.

Advocate Raghunatha R answered
First we need to know wt they have sent in d notice. They might have filled case against the will. That has to be suitably answered otherwise they have chance to cancel the will in Ur absence. So it's better to answer
