Q: Will For Armed Forces Personnel
I am a serving army office (religion- hindu) and I have made my will in accordance with Army Order 4/91 which is an unregistered will. I experienced lot of problems in inheriting property from my mother owing to her non registered will, hence, I want to make a registered will. The opening lines of any will state that I revoke all the past wills. If I write that in my registered will then probably my own department may not accept the fresh will as I will be revoking the existing will which is just a one page document and lacks detail. So, can I write that this will is in addition to the previous will or, can I make a registered codicil to an unregistered will. Second Query. I inherited an immovable property which was built by my grand father and registered in my grandmother's name. She passed it to my father, then to my mother and finally me. I have two sons (one adult and other minor). Can I will this entire property to my wife and exclude both sons.
