Questions Answered by Advocate Prabhjot Singh Chahal

Q: Sale person misguide and make emi instead of full payment by card

I had purchased a phone from local shop (Anmol mobile) at sector 22 Chandigarh. I have made full payment as asked by seller by credit card instead of cash/ gpay as sale person told me there will be extra discount on payment by credit card. I make full payment as he guide and told. A mesaage of payment 29070 came to me. Thereafter 3-4 days I got a mail from card bank- about my loan and emi for mobile. I was stunned as I never adopted for emi option and neither seller told about this.

Advocate Prabhjot Singh Chahal answered
if you have phone and its not locked by any bank or loan agency you are free just contact bank about no emi no loan over phone in formal way.also in case you feel cheated send legal notice to shop and wait for reply in case no reply we can file consumer complaint against shop.
