I live in Vikaspuri , having a builder floor having 4 floors with ground as parking for all. I live on 2nd floor (noted as 1st floor) with 1st floor as upper ground. Owner of upper ground floor is converting his floor into some sort of commercial showroom. He is carrying out activity like internal changes (unknown to us). Also , we got to know that he will carve out a separate stairs from upper ground / first floor direct onto the road. This person has not taken permission from any of other floor residents and forcibly converting it's floor to mixed land use purpose. These changes will impact our security, peace, and most important our floor value worth will drop a lot. Query 1. What are relevant laws for the purpose ? 2. Is this legal ? 3 how can we make him stop ? 4. We want to get stay at his activities . Please guide , especially if any from West Delhi or Vikaspuri area

hi, you need to check whether the area you are residing comes under which type of land as per delhi master plan. also what is the commercial activity that the person wants to engage in. once that is cleared the further action such as stay if so needed cab be asked from the court. for further assistance, kindly get in touch.

Q: Legal Issues with working with client independantly of hiring company

Hi,I have been contracted by a company (say ABC) to provide certain services to their clients. I also own an LLP (say XYZ) which provides this service (in addition to others). The contract with ABC does not have any non-compete clause. I have been assigned a client by them who is very unhappy with the overall company processes of ABC and wishes to engage with me independantly of the hiring company. He will be disengaging with ABC entirely. Is there a legal issue in working with the client through XYZ since I was introduced to them through ABC?

hi, with respect to your query, even if there is no non compete clause in your agreement with them. you do not know what are the terms and conditions of the contract between the client and ABC. if there is nothing which is stopping either of you directly or indirectly then you can go ahead with it. it would be advisable if both of you get your contract vetted by a professional before making any decision

Dear SirWe just shift to new rent house after more than 8+ years live in last house. We don't have any Rent Agreement. My last Landlord says you have to clear Letring Tank yourself as you live here 8+ here. So before Going to a new house, it's your responsibility to clear letring tank. Sir, please tell us what is the law for about this.

hi, had there been an agreement oral or written which specifically mentions this as your duty then you would have been obliged to do it. however, in the absence of the agreement they can not force you to do the same or stop your security amount or deduct from your security amount.
