After my father’s demise, we plan to sell a property in Uttar Pradesh that is in my late grandmother’s name. Both grandparents are deceased. They had 4 children (2 sons, 2 daughters). My father (one son) is no more; his legal heirs are my mother, brother and me. My father’s two sisters (one of which is NRI) are willing to relinquish their share. What legal steps/documents are required to obtain clear title before sale?PS: All of us are Christians and neither my grandparents/father had any will

first file mutation application in the concerned court for mutating the name of all legal heirs then the legal heir will gain the title in the property, it will be easy to sell the said property or all of the legal heir after getting their name mutated in the property may invoke power of attorney to one of the legal heir for selling of the property

Q: Related To Payemnt Of Fees From A Coaching Class

 I had enrolled for a program from a coaching institute in Noida in Decembef 2025 and paid Rs 2000 as token advance money. Rest 1 lac was to be paid after 1 month. But due to medical reasons I asked the institute to cancel my admission.But instead of refunding me the Rs 2000 , they have sent me a legal notice demanding Rs 1 lac from me for the course. I have not attended any class nor taken any educational services from them. They are yet to give any online access for the classes and allot me a batch.They have sent me a legal notice under order 37 of CPC , 1908 demanding money.Do I have to pay the amount to the institute even if I haven't taken any classes nor any educational services. Is this not mental harassment.Please provide a legal solution to the problem.

since, you have not taken admission, you don't have to give the remaining amount, give a detail reply to the notice they have sent, and further file the complaint to the police stating all your grievance to the police and attache all your medical papers

yes it can be easily quashed...but you have to prove the adultery with a cogent and credible evidence there are many judgements of Hon'ble High court where the high court have quashed the entire proceedings

if your son and daughter are torturing you and not treating you in a right manner then you can take shelter if UP maintenance and welfare of parents and senior citizens act 2007. you can file application under the same act to District Magistrate against your son and daughter

Q: FIR Quashing for 13 year old case

We had a civil case against a wrongful possession of our shop. The tenant filed an FIR / chargesheet in that case. We filed a case in Allahabad high court in 2010 requesting a stay on the FIR. Because the original case was civil in nature, respected high court granted a stay on the order and requested the opposing counsel to submit a counter affidavit in 2 weeks. Its been 13 years now and nothing further happened. The civil case was resolved outside the court. How do we quash the FIR?

if the settlement regarding civil dispute has been resolved, in pursuance to which the FIR was registered then on the basis of that settlement High Court will quash your FIR...you have to pursue your case
