Q: I want correction in data of birth

My date of birth is wrong in my documents. can i correct it by court. I want to change that in my all three 10th, diploma, and degree. please suggest me how i can do this as fast.

For the said purpose, you must have the reliable proof qua your date of birth which you want to change. A civil suit will be filed to get the same changed in all the documents and legally admissible for future purposes.

Q: make a second police complaint while first complaint is still active

how to make a police complaint against an accused when there is already an active police complaint the same accused.

If the allegation or cause of action to make the complaint is different from the earlier complaint, the new complaint can be moved separately against the same accused. There is no bar to make sunsequent complaint in the above said situation.

Q: Wife filed false 498A case later compromised how to close the case

Wife Has Filed False Cases Of 498a, Crpc 125, And Dowry Act Against me and my family. However we have talked to them and they agreed to close the cases and wife started living with me again. It has been more than 1.5 years she is staying with me but they did not close the cases. They somehow keeping the cases alive and getting new dates. 1. She threatens me every now and then including her mother and father with severe consequences . How can I save myself?

First of all it is to be seenas to how she is able to get the case adjourned and pending despite the fact that she is living with you since last 1.5 years. There after taking help of the instances of her living with you we can proveed to get those cases closed. For going ahead you have to meet witht he case records.

Q: New owner of bike is not getting it registered on his name

Hi - I sold a bike and NOC was released as well from local RTO office, however buyer is not getting vehicle registered on his name for quite some time. Is there any legal obligation on me for the vehicle after NOC release. If yes - what legal action can/should I take to safeguard myself. Thanks

In such a case you will have to sent him a legal notice asking him to get the vehicle transfered in his name. You have to send an intimation to RTO as well in the said respect. Unless you act so, you may be held liable for consequences in some cases.

Q: Dispute with the creditor over non documented money

We have a dispute with a creditor. He supplied material worth approx. Rs. 20lakh in 2013 on chalan basis but did not raise a bill for the same (out of books). We paid him in cash(no proof) periodically in subsequent years. Meanwhile, he was our regular supplier with whom with did majority business in white as well till 2015. Our accounts as per books were settled in 2013. As of today, we have an advance of Rs. 1.5 lakh given to him standing in our books since 2015. We stopped doing business with him since the end of 2015. Now, he has double-crossed us. He is threatening us to pay Rs. 20 Lakh + Interest on the unbilled amount. He says he has the signed 'delivery challans' & 2 emails that he sent on our email id mentioning the materials, quantity with challan numbers. He has been sending us various texts demanding that money for 6 months. We were advised not to reply to the text messages. Kindly advise on what cases can he file against us, how strong is his case & what remedies available?

You have to show the messages raising demands, your books of accounts and the copy of challans as well. Only after going through the said documents, it can be ascertained as to what action can be taken by him and what you should do prior and after his actions.
