Dear client, thank you for choosing Lawrato. It is a well settled law that once a verification has been completed and thereafter passport was issued, now the police authorities should not again call you for verification, please take an order urgently from the High Court for misuse of power by the local police authorities. Q: A plot of land in West BENGAL, is being claimed by WAQF estate. According to the CS ROR(~ year 1935)

A plot of land in West BENGAL, is being claimed by WAQF estate. According to the CS ROR(~ year 1935) the intermediary was the estate (the name of the mutwalli was mentioned) and my ancestor was the \"Raiyat\".\nAfter land reform (\"The West Bengal Estates Acquisition Act, 1953\" and \"THE WEST BENGAL LAND REFORMS ACT, 1955\") in the LR ROR my ancestor became the owner ( probably in 1956). Now WAQF estate says West Bengal Land Reform made a mistake and wrongly registered my ancestor\'s name in LR ROR.

Q: Change electricity meter name from my grandfather tp my father

My grandfather has died on 2001 and there was no property settlement. The home in which we stay has the electricity meter name of my grandfather. It has not been changed. We are living in the house for 25 years now. How do we change the meter name so that we can increase the load and as without the meter in my name we cannot apply for load enhancement. Q: Ownership of the property i am living for the last over 30 years now.

I constructed a house in my own land about 30 years back where my own brother contributed a major part. After some years i transferred the said property to my brother through a sale deed without any monetary transaction with verb assurance of paying me back the amount i contributed. But he is refusing. I am still occupying the entire first floor with my family. My brother is also living in the same house alone since his wife deceased. Now, advice whether i have any legal claim on the property.
