Q: Ex wife demanding alumini after 20 yrs of divorse

Monthly maintenance was giving but it was stopped now bcz ex wife son took over responsibility. But all of sudden now ex wife demanding maintenance again. Sent legal notice. Need advise

In your mutual divorce draft, there had been a mention of any amount towards full and final settlement and other clause stating that she can't claim maintenance in future. if that clause is mentioned, she can't demand that. You have to reply to her legal notice through advocate stating and denying the same.

Q: Husband has filed divorce under section 13 (ib) under HMA

I want to reply to legal notice sent by husband and also want to file maintenance for my self and my child.

if husband has sent you legal notice. The first step is to give an reply to the legal notice through your advocate. You can avail other remedies like you can file maintenance case against your husband in court.

Q: I want to register a complaint against a business owner.

Who details which playstation devices and he did the fraud with multiple people and I'm also the victim of it..police is not helping me in this matter and asking me to go to the court and register a complaint . And the lawyer is asking too much for legal formalities hence I'm totally helpless

You need to file a private complaint with the concerned court thereby praying court for registering FIR against the accused. For that you need to make a written complaint to local police station and ACP and DCP. despite complaint if no cognizance or action taken, then only you can file private complaint in Court.

Q: One lady creates nuisance in the society

Hello,Need urgent help here. One lady in our society keeps creating a lot of nuisance. She has filled false complaints against two reputed MC members to the deputy registrar of the housing society . She misuses law by playing women card. She is very aggressive and abusive in nature. She is divorcee and has two daughters. She uses this as I m single mother and no male member in our family etc . All members are frustrated what legal remedy MC can use to stop her

You can file an NC in the concerned police station against the lady invoking public nuisance sections under BNS. And on that basis of NC, you can file private complaint in the Magistrate court against that lady.

Q: Renewval of Passport under criminal charges

My friend has been charged with 509, 500, 504, 506 and 67 in a defamation case. A chargesheet has been filed but not heard, as he is in psychiatric treatment. His passport has expired. Can he renew his passport?

Yes he can renew it. But since criminal proceedings are pending, he need to take permission of the court by filing appropriate application of renewal in the Court where his matter is pending. He can renew it only with the permission of court.
