Q: Broker took the money to return it to the tenant and now absconded

I had made a payment of Rupees 6 lakh to a broker with the intent to pay back my tenant for the heavy deposit taken from the tenant. But the broker did not payback the tenant and took the money and is now untraceable. The broker is now in Korea and not picking up my calls. It has been more than a year now. The broker has a house of his own which is given on rent, hence we find it difficult to reach him. Please help.

Dear Querist,Considering the amount, I hope you have some documented proof to show that you have given the broker the said amount. If so, then you can initiate a civil case against the broker. You can also initiate criminal proceedings against the said broker. The summons to the broker can be issued through the email and social media.

Q: When is Interrogatory Evidence given to Doctors for Medical Negligence

In medical negligence cases on what basis an interrogatory is given to the opponent doctors. Whether the interrogatory is framed on the basis reply given by OP’s for the complaint or the questions are framed on their affidavit in support of evidence.

Questions in the interrogatories need not be restricted to the complaint or the evidence affidavit. The interrogatories need to be relevant to the facts of the case. Kindly refer to orde XI of the CPC

Q: My parents are torturing me, tried to kill me, what to do

I'm Hindu. I'm . My parents are not giving me any freedom. They are mentally and physically torturing me. They are not giving me to study in my choice. They are always comparing me with other children and often comments on me on my weakness. Always they have misunderstanding on me. They torchures me mentally without even knowing that if really I did wrong or not.They never tried to gave a single second for me to discuss with me to know what is going in my mind or any matter, whether I really did wrong or not. Always they tells me to die. Even one day I had tried to suicide by drinking phenol. And one day my mom gave a cloth and said to tie on fan and hang myself. And one day my dad brought a knife and tried to kill me but later he cut my left hand through that knife. Always they had exposed me without knowing the real matter. And few days back both of them warned me to kill me. I can't even focus on anything bcoz of them. Each second I feel like 1 year.

You are in dire need of proper counselling. There Re various legal remedies available to you but you first need to meet a family counsellor who will be able to guide you through the process of building up confidence to stand up to your parents
