Hi, I had a court marriage last year, but it has not been officially announced yet. I am now applying for a passport. Should I mention 'single' on the application since I am not living with my husband and all my documents list my parents' address? Is it mandatory to mention marital status in the passport application, and what are the implications of being listed as single in the passport when married?

Hi..as per the facts provided by you , i would only suggest that dont hide true fact of your court marriage from the goverment authority. It is illegal and unlawful to hide true facts and it is an offence as per indian law to provide false information to goverment authorities.

In this case, the son is deceased, and only the daughter-in-law and her three children are living with the mother-in-law in her husband’s parental home. Q: Abusive husband threatened to kill me

I want to know that my husband is always mentally unstable and is always threatening hyper mood . Always is playing poker and drink lots . He never give us money for household goods orschool fees or anything else. now he is trying to harm us and my husband threatened to kill me and take my son away. kindly show me the right way. Q: What to do in case of mental harassment case against parents in india ?

I should have been a law pass out in the year 2014.I had my own ambitions and dreams and wanted to work in Pune Lower Court.My parents never believed on my decisions and I went into the state of Depression because I was not allowed to do pursue career of my choice.I have been subjected to mental harassment by parents ,agony and cruelty. I have my papers pending and I told them I have one back.I am in Pune right now for my exams but in between I get harassed by them that if I don't complete they will not send me again.I want to raise my own money and do things which makes me happy.I have been writing legal articles for law firms. If detained against my will what legal actions can I take against them? Can I issue of writ of HC under Article 226.Can they interfere so much in my life that my fundamental rights are violated?

Yes, You may move to high court under article 226 or supreme court under article 32 to protect your right to life and personal liberty or you may give an application to concerned police station where you resides.
