Q: Bank seized my account inappropiately and unable to function it
My husband invested in a company in 1990s and received cheques each worth 2,10,000 dated june 2010. My husband expured in 2007 but we had a joint account so i applied those cheques in Bank of india in 2010 and all 4 were credited. But after few days a cheque was returned to my house and amount worth 2,10,000 was debited and then after few days my bank account was seized by bank. The reason stated was that the company is dysfunctional and the amount has been wrongly transferred to you by State Bank Of India (cheques were of this bank) till date the amount worth 6,30,000 is in my account but i can't operate it. I heard that a case is being contested between SBI and BOI in mumbai but they haven't involved me.
