Q: Kolkata complaint case – warrant recall & exemption advice

A criminal complaint case (CS) is filed against me in Kolkata Magistrate Court relating to an NBFC loan. I never received any summons. The case status shows “E/R of Warrant” with next date 21-04-2026. Recently, Bangalore police contacted my family but did not show any warrant, only gave intimation and suggested settlement. I live outside West Bengal. Can you appear before the Kolkata court now to file warrant recall and exemption from personal appearance? Please advise process, urgency, and fees

Yes sure. I will need few more details before proceeding with this.If the warrant is in your name then you need to appear before the court. That is non negotiable. We can also take a look at why the summon wasn’t served.

Q: wife not cooperating after signing MOU

1. 498a fir is filed against me and my parents. 2. applied for my parents fir quash, High court organized mediation and matter settled husband also participated in the mediation. 3. settlement terms were to exchange jewelry (this is done) between husband and wife and husband will cooperate in Khula proceedings which wife initiates. 4. Mediator infromed me that based on this settlement all 3 of us FIR will be quashed. also mediator informed me- wife cannot put any other criminal cases against me

Q: Salary account huge negative balance Arbitration award

I have loan 10 lakh in Icici. I couldn't pay last 2 years. In 2024 I got settlement offer of 4 lakh and i pay 2.4 lakh but in 2025 i cannot pay any amount. In online sama. Live today can see arbitration award and my Federal bank salary account is in 8.7 lakh in negative balance and freeze. How to solve the issue and unfreeze my salary account. I got 4/5 notice in mail. Now for me i cannot survive.

Q: Want to recover my money as early as possible

Two years ago my office colleague said me to invest ₹95,000/- in doge coin telling me that I will get high return but till now I didn't get any money and he is telling me that I will not even get my capital back also. What I have to do now to get my money back? I have the proof of sending money to my colleague 's account and whatsapp chat.

Hi, This is a rather tricky situation. If you say that you invested this money in doge coin knowing the risk it involves then you will be yourself responsible as you knew the risk.But as you said that you gave this person to someone to invest, thus this story can be told in a better way to get a legal remedy.For further information/ query, you can connect with me.

Q: Quashing A IPC 306 Chargesheet

I am facing a case under Section 306 IPC, arising purely family dispute. All persons involved are blood-related members of the same family — Mother, Fathe, Brother, and Sister. Committed Sucide - Father Accused - Mother and Brother Complainant - Sister History: 1. FIR 2021 2. Chargesheet 2022 3. No witness Examine till now. Current position: Mutual settlement has already been reached between the Family. The complainant (my sister) is fully ready to close the case and cooperate in quashing of the FIR/charge-sheet. The trial in the lower court is moving very slowly and inefficiently, with no effective progress. Query:

Hello,To quash this, your advocate needs to make a settlement petition before High Court. Only High Court has that specific power.Then this petition needs to be affirmed before the commissioner in presence of both the parties. Then filed before the Justice with that specific authority/determination.After this, the matter will appear and advocate needs to move that matter stating that both the parties have unanimously settled and pray for quashing.
