Advocate Abheek Saha brings over a decade of focused and sophisticated legal practice, distinguished by strategic insight, commercial awareness, and an unwavering commitment to ethical, results-driven advocacy. Since beginning his legal career in 2012, he has successfully handled complex, high-value matters across multiple jurisdictions, consistently delivering clarity, precision, and effective solutions for his clients.

A Partner at Amrit Lal Saha & Associates, Abheek practices out of the firm’s fully operational offices in Bangalore/Bengaluru and Agartala, leading a team of competent legal professionals, research associates, and multidisciplinary experts. His practice covers commercial and corporate litigation, banking and financial disputes, arbitration, civil matters, consumer law, and investment-related laws, with deep experience representing corporates, financial institutions, investors, and high-net-worth individuals.

With early exposure to global financial markets and a long-standing interest in investment and regulatory frameworks, Abheek has developed a nuanced understanding of investment laws, cross-border transactions, foreign exchange regulations, investment arbitration, competition law, and international commercial disputes. This makes him particularly well-positioned to advise investment firms, merchant bankers, foreign corporations, and international entities seeking reliable legal support in India.

Beyond litigation, Abheek provides strategic legal consultancy, regulatory compliance advisory, due diligence support, and risk assessment for start-ups, MSMEs, and scaling enterprises. His prior role as the Co-Founder & Legal Counsel of a start-up gives him a practical grasp of business dynamics and the legal challenges faced by growth-oriented organisations.

Today, Advocate Abheek Saha is widely recognised for combining strong legal expertise with commercial understanding and a solution-oriented mindset. Want to issue shares to investor...how much it will cost

It depends on few factors - whether authorized share capital of the company needs to be increased, the stamp duty, MCA fees, others. You can get in touch with a nearest lawyer having practice in this field who can guide you through the process.

Q: I invested in a fraud real estate company what to do now

I invest in a real estate but the company is fraud, the scam case is under CID, what should be my next step.

Advocate Abheek Saha answered
The best would be if you can immediately file your case and that way your rights will be protected.Later you can file execution case if the company is not complying the judgement. Normally if the Directors are in police custody you have to file the execution case later to recover the money.

Q: Clarification on registration of startup in India or USA

My startup has clients mainly based in the US and Europe, although not limited to these countries. I operate as a broker between these clients and product providers in India/China/Brazil/Philippines. The clients in US/European countries pay me which I then forward to the service providers after a small commission. The product is then shipped by a 3rd party back to the US/Europe. The medium of payment is bank transfer/PayPal. Note that there are no actual operations in the US but fees are charged in USD. I am seeking advice as to where to register my startup - USA/India or elsewhere. My objective is to make it easier for the western companies to pay me and for me to do business with Chinese and other Asian providers. Note that the currency will also change - from USD to my company's bank account to the currency that the provider receives.

Advocate Abheek Saha answered
It will be better to seek independent legal advice and the advice can be given by knowing in detail about your business, the sector you operate or the services/products you are dealing with. For the brief what you have written, we can suggest there will be no problem in operating the business from India or if you incorporate the company in India.
