Civil writ dismissed by the Supreme court can i refile the same

28-Oct-2023 (In Supreme Court Law)
I had efiled a writ petition (civil) in the Honorable Supreme Court. It was not accepted citing reason that it did not follow the Supreme court guidelines, but no specific reason was given. My petition followed the guidelines. What can i do here in this matter please advice. Can i refile the same petition in person at the supreme court registry? Can i ask it to be reviewed? Can i ask for any specific grounds on which my petition was not accepted? Please advice. Thank you so much and best regards.

Yes, you can refile after removing the defects in person or through an Advocate on Record. In person filing also has some additional requirements and only on fulfillment of such requirements your petition will be numbered.

If an order of Registrar is communicated to you, you can file an Appeal against but the same may be a waste of time as they are often dismissed.
