Where i complaint for recovery of money

Hi, Please support me providing legal way. I have given 2 lacs to a known person for his emergency needs by Bank Transfer. He promised to return within week. But now he is not responding to my calls & msg from last 3 months. As a proof I can share bank details indicating transfer in his account & sms exchanged for same. Will it be possible to lodge a case & recover my money? I have no clue as to what I can do legally. Please guide. Thanks in advance.

You will have to give legal notice through advocate and demand back the money.
After sending the legal notice if you the money is returned to you by then you should relax.
If the charge the money is returned back after sending the legal notice then you will have to file court case.
