What is the fees for filing case in NCDRC

12-May-2023 (In Property Law)
How to file an intervene application(IA) in a NCDRC case u/s 12(1)(c)? Is there a fee for this? The court has ordered publication of advertisement. I wish to file as IA to join the case as a buyer in an apartment complex in Faridabad.

Hi, There is no separate court fee for filing impleadment application in a consumer complaint which has already been admitted by NCDRC.

It is at the time of filing the original complaint that a court fee of Rs. 5000/- is required to be deposited.

If you are a part of the same project irt which the general notice has been published and have the same grievance and prayer as in that particular S 12(1)(c) application, you can well be impleaded.

Dear sir

Thank you for your query. If you are talking about court fees it depends on the claim amount. Above 5 lacs and upto 10 lacs is INR 1000 above 10 lacs up to 20 lacs is 2000 etc.
You can also check ncdrc website for further details. I would suggest you to contact our offices with your specific query and would be happy to assist you with your specific query.
