How to get duplicate property papers if property holder is dead

I have a house in malad ,mumbai.but this property is on the name of my aunty (bua) whom was un married and blind.but we have signed paper of nomination on the name of my grandmother.but the papers of the property is misplaced by the sister of property holder.and she was died on 2008.so please give me legal advice for getting duplicate property paper and to take property on the name of my grandmother.

You will get the copy of property papers from the concern office of Land Records if they are registered, once you'll get the papers, on the completion of essential documentation, property will be transferred in the name of nominee.

You may get the certified copy from registrar of cooperative. You may also get few details from Mumbai municipal corporation. You may by appointing a lawyer take legal search of the said property for last 30 years. So that may get all details and then you may apply for certified copy of the said documents before proper forum.
