How to get back plot of land now illegally occupied by people

A piece of land was purchased way back in 2003 due to transfer in job the family shifted to a different town leaving the plot vacant ,now the land has been occupied illegally and construction has been started we possess nothing except registered sale deed
This is a land grabbing case. Kindly file an FIR at the earliest with your local police stating all the details and submit it along with the copies of your deed and any other documents supporting your case.
