How to deal with property dispute with step father

29-May-2023 (In Property Law)
Sorry for another question. My Mother died two years ago, My brother and me were agreed with husband of my mom for sharing property father 50%, 25% each to brother with mutual understanding. After that my uncle (brother of my mom) helped us to solve matter and we bought new house from that 25% but still father forced us to include his name in our deed. Now after taking 50% he is asking again his share in our house. What is option for us?

the only option before you is to either amicably settle with the brother of your Mom or get a partition done through the court of law as per documentary evidences available. In both the cases, you have the remedy of getting justice

Hi,

No need for sorry
This is in continuation of previous question,as your father have given some amount in buying new house and he have got it registered in his name along with your, then now you cannot throw him out, moreover according to Hindu Law you need to maintain your parents if he/she is not earning .

Thanks
