Grandfather die without Will father is nominee for shop who will get

my grandfather had a shop. he passed away without any Will. he had my father as the Nominee. my question is who will get the property. will it be my father who is the Nominee or would it be my grandmother or both?

if your father is the only son then obviously your father will get the same. but being nominee your father is entitle to get the property wherein he has mentioned your father as a nominee. grand mother is his legal heir so to avoid any dispute it is better your father apply for succession certificate from the courts of law by appointing a lawyer.
