Father threatening to disown me from the property, how to claim share

21-Mar-2023 (In Property Law)
My grandfather gifted a shop to my father in 1986 by way of a Gift Deed. Father then sold the shop and bought a house in which we are currently living in. My father is physically healthy and mentally sound and is of 57 years of age. He does not work deliberately. Father has now forcibly asked me that I have to fulfill the following conditions: 1. I will live on the upper floor and will bear all the related expenses i.e. grocery, utility bills, maintenance expenses etc. 2. I will give him rent of Rs. 15,000/month for living in his house. I suggested that we will not give him Rs. 15,000 as rent; instead I will manage all the family expenses of both floors including his personal expenses. However, he has rejected the solution and said that we must give him rent of Rs. 15,000/month. He again threatened that if we refuse to give him the said amount then he will publish our ‘Aaq Nama’ in the newspaper and then he will give us a time of a few days to leave his house. Religion Islam

Dear Client,
you do not have any claim but to pay your father what he is asking or leave. SInce its by way of Gift that he has acquired it has taken the form of self acquired property of your father your father has every right to use the property as his will and desire
