Dear Sir/Madam, if you are male member you have every right to get your respective share from the ancestral property of yours ... you have to collect all the details of the property alongwith documents and to issued a legal notice to your uncle by claiming your respective share, if your uncle has to failed to do so, thereafter you have to file civil suit for partition before the jurisdictional civil court by claiming your respective share. If you want my legal service I will do it.

In your query, I am unable to ascertain if you have proof of your father's mental health. In some cases, when the person is of unsound mind/ mental ill health - a guardian is appointed. The guardian can take decisions of this person.

You have not given me enough information but it may be possible for you to file a case to recover your share from your father's property. If your grandparents had some property, then their children have shares in it, and so you might have a right to your father's share of the property. I will need more information to give you proper advice.
