Can father take house in daughter's name from ancestral property money

Due to family dispute me and my father mother moving to rented house and my father have ancestral property located in gujarat and father stay in mumbai can he sold without consent of my bother and from this money can they purchase house in name of me is there any legal problem in future for this action because my brother can not take care of my father mother so this reason i moved to rented house please let me know above action is valid can he do so?

Your brother also has a right in the Ancestral Property situated in Gujarat of your Father. If you sell it without your brother's consent, the buyer of the said property can land into trouble as he(buyer) does not get a clear unmarketable title.
As the acquisition of the new house in your name is on the proceeds of the sale of the ancestral property, you also may be in trouble due to the reasons mentioned in (1) above.
If the brother gets to know of this, he can take appropriate civil proceedings for getting his share and set aside the transactions happened(if) above.

No, the action is not valid as your brother has the same amount of right in the ancestral property of your father as much as you have... selling such a property without considering or taking consent of other legal heirs is bad in law which will invite further litigations and the doers may be penalised...
