Can a person's wife Will property of husband herself after his death

16-Jan-2023 (In Property Law)
One male person died in 1999 without any will. The property was self made by himself. Now his wife died in 2015 and made a will in favour of her sister and grand daughter. Is this will valid? The property is still in that man's name.

Not at all , if the property is self earned then a will made by his wife carries no value.
All the legal heirs of the deceased have equal right to the property.
ex: say the deceased man had one wife, one son and a daughter in this situation the property will be divided among three persons I.e. 1. Wife , 2. Son and 3. daughter.
As far as the will is concerned the 1/3 rd part of the property will be considered for the purposes of the Will made by the wife of the deceased as the same will be considered as a vested interest in her.
