Can husband claim maintenance of child from me

i am muslim. if i give divorce to my husband, and my child is with my husband,can he ask me for compensation for child.as im a woking women,my husband is driver,work in dubai, im govt emply,if yes then after my remarrge then also i hve to pay compsation to x'husband
Yes, according to recent development in law, if the wife is earning well and the custody of the child is with the husband then husband can claim maintenance of the child from wife.
