Tenant staying on rent for 6 last year does he have any right over it?

28-Dec-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)

I have kept an tenant on rent for last 6 years. But I have been renewing the agreement every 11 months. Is there any possibility that the tenant has any legal rights on my own property

What do you mean by Legal Right over here. if you are renewing the agreement every 11 months then as the per the agreement the Tenant has the right over the property to use it as mentioned in the property. the title/ ownership remains with you. you have not transferred the right of Ownership to your Tenant you have just rented the House. the property remains yours and the person has no Legal Rights over the property except to use it as per the agreement and you have the right to terminate and change the Tenant whenever you wish to( as mentioned in the Rent Agreement)
