Rent paid without any receipt by landlord

Hey whomsoever I am From Mumbai I wanted to ask Its like me and my Mummy are staying in a rent house and its been 60 years since my dad was born in this house.but v still pay rent to are land lord.And our landlord increases 500 rs every year without giving a written note that v have paid the rent.secondly v have the very old bills which my dad used to pay earlier and nowthe landlords are like repair the house and leave the house and if after repairing it if v wish to stay then the rent will increase to 5000rs. so plz help me with this what should v do

As per your query, usually tenants can’t do much about the eviction if the owner wants the property for personal use.
However, if the owner is trying to evict without any lawful reason, you can file a police case against him. The Supreme Court judgement may help you prove your tenancy rights.
