Owner & POA not ready to return deposit back on last day

We stay on rent in Mumbai & owner is in London & POA is given to her Brother in Law(Mumbai). We made agreement 1-1-2016 for 22 months & owner decided to terminate the contract in Feb 2016, our rent agreement is done online & police verification is pending as before that owner decided to terminate the contract. There is third person involved here through owner who is harassing us from day one & threating us that he would vacant the place immediately by throwing us out as we have been asking for our deposit back on the last day which they intend to pay entirely post we hand over the keys.
Termination of the rent agreement will be governed by the terms and condition of the contract. Regarding the harassment you can file a complaint in a police station regarding the harassment. They cannot use illegal means to evict you from the house.
