How to file a complaint against my society's welfare association

16-Feb-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
My Society is not allowing me to rent my flat to a Bachelor Tenant, inspite of me doing police verification and registering the Leave and License agreement and giving the copy to soceity. I want to file a police complaint, under which IPC section i can do so, please advise.

It is not legal to ban bachelor's from being tenant. But the society or management can have certain rules or norms fixed at the time of building it. If there are no such rules and the house belongs to you then you have the right to lease out your property to anyone you wish to. If this is not settled then you can approach the cooperative deputy registrar of your area for redressal.
