How to evict a tenant in case of default in payment of rent

20-Jun-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
I did a registered agreement with a tenant for a period from Feb 2016 to Jan 2017. The tenant paid the rent of Feb. Then he did not pay the rent for the months of March, April and May i.e.cheques for these 3 months were dishonoured. Then after repeated follow ups, he deposited 15k in my account. On 15th May, I sent 2 notices. One mentioning him to vacate my shop as he has defaulted the agreement conditions repeatedly. (30 day notice period) Second notice, for the dishonoured cheques. (15 day notice period) Both notice times are complete yet not vacated. What do I do now?

The tenanct agreement needs to be legally vetted. Thereafter it would be possible to comment on the course of action in accordance with the the statutory provisions of the Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999.
