Co-operative Housing Society - Criteria to be a Secretary of a CHS.

Can a person who is residing in a flat which is on the name of a Company of which his wife and daughter are directors. Can that person stand for a post of Secretary in CHS in Mumbai. If he has a POA from the company can he than stand for a post of Secretary in CHS in Mumbai?
Yes, standing for a post in the cooperative housing society would not be an issue if there is a power of attorney executed by the company in favour of the director who is residing there.
There is no such bar in Mumbai and neither would the rules of the cooperative housing society prevnt the same.
