What issue can I have in new job if i show fake salary slip of old job

I used to work with a financial organization on sharing basis and not on salary but unfortunately the business didn't work so m planning to take up a job, now my current partners are generous enough to provide me with fake salary slips, and also give an oral confirmation when they get contacted for verification, can there be any legal ramifications of this or can the new organization can ever know that I provided fake slips.
There is no problem in providing same as it is not looked into with that much of diligence nor there is any investigation regarding that. But still just to be safe and away from any legal hassle you should not do the same.
