Father missing from 22 years can i claim job on compassionate ground

my father was working for govt Bank and he was missing from past 22 years, we are gave police complaint but not traceable, being im his son can i clime his job in same bank.
You will need to obtain a court order that since he has not been heard of or traced for 22 years, he should be declared as dead. After obtaining the Court order you can approach the Bank. Since it is a Bank and not the State Government, you will have to check the Bank's service rules and then proceed accordingly.
