Friend forcing to get married so she can get the green card

I agreed to marry a friends nephew to help them get their green card. However I researched more into it and realized it is illegal and changed my mind. But my friend said if I do not marry their nephew they will send our conversation into ICE marriage fraud. Should I be worried because I did not do anything illegal and changed my mind?
