Whether i can claim relief for being harassed for dowry

Respected Lawyers good day to all I am in big problem please help me, It got married in August 2015 and now I am having an around ! year old son. At the time of marriage, my in-laws asked 1 lac cash, gold ornaments, furniture, and all electronic goods from my parents in form of dowry. My parents have fulfilled all demands but from the first day of my marriage my mother in law started abusing me and my parents in front of me for dowry and related goods, she deals me like a servant and did not allow me to talk my parents, she took all my jewellery and wedding related clothes and goods.I am a doctor by profession and they want me to earn money for them beside the doing all housework which includes waking up early morning sweeping cleaning floor preparing breakfast for around 10 person everyday washing dishes and clothes cleaning wheat and a lot of work, I am not in position of doing job besides such hectic schedule and as I am a mother of a baby now my work has been double. 2) My mother

Dear client , these problems generally occurs everywhere, by criminal procedure code section 498A can help you , family relations are like as stream of water, which can,t be divided as you have not complained about your husband which is the indication of his poor earnings,hence the family members taking revenge of it, please wait for some time I have sure within 2/3 years everything will be ok.please don't be hesitate for calling me,if you like my suggestion rate me.

First question do you want to go legally or take any legal action? Prepare yourself as you have one year baby. I would suggest discuss with your husband and sort the things out remove any solution with him. Or else you can take action and revert me for the same.

yes off course you can claim relief harrased by i laws under Protection of women under domestic violence Act by filing case against them in lower court JMFC and you can claim all relief you want and court will allow you maintenance from them specially from your husband and will take action against them
