What is the effect of conversion of religion on inheritance

What will be the impact of conversionfrom one religion to other on Inheritance also tell me about all the religion such as Hindu, christian, muslim etc?
Hi. Assuming that one converts from a hindu to muslim, chirstian etc., the convert can choose to be governed by the old laws as applicable prior to conversion. Mere conversion of religion does not change the law applicable on inheritance.
