I want to cancel engagement but girl family asking huge money. Advise

Dear sir Igot engagement on 27/08/16 & after engagement i want to cancel the marge becaz of her bakwaz mentality & i have proffs. and we are trying to close the issue mutually but they are not comming forword at the time of engagment they have givn 50k as a gift and now they are demanding as 1.8Lcs. pls suggest what to do.

You can choose to share the expenses incurred for engagement ceremony as a good will gesture.
