I am Hindu. I want to know about my grandfather property and my share.

After my father demise, my grandfather too passed away. My grandmother is alive. My grandfather was a retired government teacher and my father was government teacher. My father was 2 brother and 1 sister, and when I ask them about the papers of property, they say we don't know where the paper is. How can I got to know the property my grandfather was?

DEAR SIR
FIRST COLLECT ALL THE INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPERTIES LIKE KHATA NO , BOOK OF RECORD OR AREA OF PROPERTY AND ADDRESS OF PROPERTY AND AFTER GETTING ALL THE INFORMATION FILE A PARTITION SUIT IN THE PROPERTY ALONG WITH INJUNCTION PETITION STATING THE SAME PROPERTY SHOULD NOT BE TRANSFERRED
