Steps to get share certificate in my name if mother is member

12-Feb-2023 (In Documentation Law)

Our 2BHK flat has My father as first and my mom an associate member (joint co-owner). Unfortunately, my father passed away before "Share certificate" was issued by co-op housing society. What are the steps to get "Share certificate" on my mom's name when there is no will but I am the only child and can provide NOC?

Yes, you should now approach the society and ask them to issue the share certificates in the name of you and your mother. As you and your mother are the only legal heirs to the property, there should be no difficulty in having the share certificates issued.
