How to stop mass cutting down of trees to save the environment

we are doing social service like Tree planting within city. problem is: so many trees cut by advertise hoardings to view better ads on roads. we given number of complaints to Maha Nagar Palika forest department Bangalore, this activity is going on from may years and till today not stopped. few of trees Injected chemical to Kill trees by Advertise hoardings. Forest department just receiving complaints from us and not taking single action, so we want to Save Trees someone advice us to approach" to lokayukta court to get solution, we have all complaint acknowledgement copy. we are as non profit NGO need some advice & help to do some thing. please contribute your advice for save environment Bangalore. Regards
The correct way out is to File Public Interest Litigation and seek directions to the persons in authority to take appropriate measure to prevent cutting of trees and government to punish the culprits.
