How to change name on official documents

Respected Sir, The Problem is about 'Name'. My Father Name is and it is spelled right on all my documents,Educational,and IDs. But The problem is My father Name on his service documents and on pan, etc is spelled . So My question is what document procedure needed to show this two names of my father is of him?So that in future no problem arise..
You Father can make a affidavit stating that both name on Documents is of one and same person only.
Apart from this a Gazette Notification and News Paper notice.
The news paper shall be English and local / regional language.

Ask him to swear an affidavit that both these names as his own and both are used by him. Get this published in all the prestigious newspaper publications and save all the newspaper clippings.
These two documents can be proof enough if in future any issues arise.
But I will still advice you to get the same name on all the documents by applying for a change in name with the relevant offices using the above-mentioned documents.
