How to change name in school certificates through writ petition?

23-Jan-2023 (In Documentation Law)
I passed out of CBSE in 1996. After that i have changed my name and i also have the affidavit and publication of name change in the official gazette. Now i wish to get this change updated in my school passing certificates so what is the procedure for that. Do i have to apply a writ petition in HC for this ?

The right procedure is getting a notice published in a local News Paper, regarding your intention to change your name/or add surname to it, and subsequently get it published in Gazette of India.

These days Gazette prints have been discontinued, so you may have to check with concerned press in your city, if they still print the Gazette Notification, or it is given to you in soft copy.
